Vehicle Overview
Showing next to no wear, this Spyder RS has barely left the showroom floor, and it wears one of the rarest specs the model offers: Paint to Sample South Sea Blue Metallic over black Race-Tex with Arctic Grey stitching and the full Weissach Package.
Under the rear clamshell sits the same naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six found in the GT4 RS, producing 493 horsepower and spinning to a 9,000-rpm redline, paired exclusively with Porsche's PDK dual-clutch transmission.
The Weissach Package brings real weight-conscious hardware along with the visual drama — an exposed carbon fiber front trunk lid, forged magnesium wheels, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes — while the cabin carries the same theme in Race-Tex and leather with contrast stitching throughout.
That South Sea Blue paint is protected as well as it's optioned — full clear bra covers the body, with a second layer up front where rock chips do the most damage.
A front axle lift system protects that low nose over driveways and speed bumps, and BOSE surround sound with PDLS headlights keep the RS usable well beyond track days.
Paint to Sample is Porsche's program for finishing a car in a color outside the standard chart — in this case a shade of blue that was never a regular production offering on the 718. It's a slower, costlier order process, and it shows: no two Paint to Sample cars are common, and this exact color on an RS-spec Spyder is not something you'll cross paths with often on a used lot.
The Weissach Package itself is a weight-and-aero program, not a trim level. Every piece it touches — the carbon fiber trunk lid, the magnesium wheels, the carbon window trim — exists to cut rotating or unsprung mass, which is exactly where weight savings sharpen a car's response the most. Forged magnesium wheels in particular are lighter than even forged aluminum, so the car turns in and changes direction with less effort at the front axle.
Because it carries Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned status, it comes with the manufacturer-backed protections that follow a factory-certified inspection, on top of everything above.
For a car built in numbers this limited, finding one this fresh — and already Porsche Approved Certified — isn't something that happens twice.
